Martin fierro's Timoteo Cerilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Martin fierro from getting a goal against them. Condarco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Goi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Furman in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Carmelo Sedeni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Condarco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Sedeni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Cerilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Martin fierro were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Matias Arnas made the kick off in the second half. If Matias Arnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Camilo Mikelar fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martin fierro's protests and gave Camilo Mikelar a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Mikelar kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
