Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) MatyCuervo FC's Celedonio Ritchie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Cordaro in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Prato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Palben showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Vincente in the 4th minute of the match. Batán AFC's Hugo Palben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Mendebal in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in MatyCuervo FC's zone, Patricio Sindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Prato came out of the goal and Patricio Sindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eleuterio Vincente came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the MatyCuervo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Vincente couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Ritchie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Palben was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. If Celedonio Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Simon Maiorga fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batán AFC's protests and gave Simon Maiorga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MatyCuervo FC booed when Batán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When MatyCuervo FC's Celedonio Ritchie in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Batán AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Generoso Brion's late challenge caught a Batán AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Brion helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Batán AFC booed when MatyCuervo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Prato was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcelino Iratze. Pang Shi Lei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Palben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silverio Cordaro was the one to do the kick off. Eleuterio Vincente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Palben having to interfere. After 52 minutes of play, MatyCuervo FC's Celedonio Ritchie made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Palben was left in no man's land by his defense there! Batán AFC's Simon Maiorga got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Simon Maiorga off the ground. In the 59th match minute, Batán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 65 minutes, Eleuterio Vincente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MatyCuervo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Vincente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Celedonio Ritchie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batán AFC's Hugo Palben was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Sindo in the 70th minute of play forced MatyCuervo FC's goalkeeper Alex Prato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Palben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Vincente, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Hugo Palben was a little too slow when Eleuterio Vincente got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 84th minute, Celedonio Ritchie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MatyCuervo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Sindo in the 89th minute of play forced MatyCuervo FC's goalkeeper Alex Prato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Ritchie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Hugo Palben when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Silverio Cordaro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Vincente in the 94th minute of play forced Batán AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Palben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Batán AFC's Hugo Palben got control of the ball when Celedonio Ritchie tried to sneak it across the goal line. MatyCuervo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
