Palmitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Cortez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Armani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Eate got free with Samuel Enetz in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignacio Theodore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Samuel Enetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Ignacio Theodore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Enetz. Palmitas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Theodore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Franco Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Palmitas's Samuel Enetz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Palmitas from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Patronato were awarded a corner. Mariano Endira went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Fragiskos Kalomerias heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Palmitas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Mariano Endira scored to the left of an out of position Samuel Enetz, making the score, 2-0. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Ramirez in the 26th minute of the match. Miguel Eate blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Enetz having to make a save. Santos Eudoxio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Franco Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Luís Fábio Soares lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Patronato! Patronato:s Franco Armani showed great skill when he stopped Jeronimo Peter:s penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Endira was the one to do the kick off. If Ignacio Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Jose Escobar could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Franco Armani however easily saved by the left post. Mariano Endira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Samuel Enetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Ramirez in the 60th minute of the match. Mariano Endira took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Enetz. Samuel Enetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 66 minutes into the game, Patronato's Mariano Endira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Enetz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Patronato's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Cortez in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Natalio Loramendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patronato's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmitas the free kick. After 80 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Ramirez. 82 minutes into the match, Patronato's Natalio Loramendi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Enetz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Natalio Loramendi's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Samuel Enetz on his right side and into the goal. 82 minutes into the game it was 5-1. 85 minutes into the match, Ignacio Theodore notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Palmitas's Samuel Enetz. Samuel Enetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Patronato's Miguel Eate got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Patronato's Franco Armani got control of the ball when Jose Escobar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Mariano Endira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patronato fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Patronato fully deserved thier win.
