Spectators: 7330 (Terracing: 5499, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) 6 minutes into the match, Anastasio Vermudo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of San Marco FC's Tobias Seguinus. Tobias Seguinus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tobias Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Vermudo in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, San Marco FC's Maximino Froila got a free kick in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Ondino in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Seguinus saved San Marco FC from getting behind. In the 20th minute Elias Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, San Marco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Eduino to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Rosario AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Arnulfo Arias hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario AFC's zone, Samuel Ortle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Millan came out of the goal and Samuel Ortle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Vermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes San Marco FC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Ramirez. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Ondino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Seguinus was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the game, Roque Tulio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Marco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario AFC the free kick. Roque Tulio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the San Marco FC defense, Saturnino Ondino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Seguinus. The San Marco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Seguinus should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Anastasio Vermudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Austin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Seguinus having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Ortle to strike the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Vermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Saturnino Ondino came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Rosario AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Ondino couldn't finish the play. Denis Erdiano hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Vermudo got free with Tobias Seguinus in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in San Marco FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Anastasio Vermudo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Maximino Froila fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Marco FC's protests and gave Maximino Froila a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to San Marco FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Maximino Froila hit a great ball. Rosario AFC's Saturnino Ondino got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasio Vermudo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tobias Seguinus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario AFC. If Elias Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes San Marco FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Froila. After a defensive mix-up in San Marco FC's zone, Elias Austin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Seguinus came out of the goal and Elias Austin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Severo Eduino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosario AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
