The Club Atletico Ipona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Club Atletico Ipona's Leonidas Bourboulithras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Ondino in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Luiz Fabiani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Ipona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fabiani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rosario AFC's Arnulfo Arias got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Claudio Urtats kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Ondino to make the kick off. Albino Milio charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Milio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albino Milio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Claudio Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Millan having to interfere. Fabian Millan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Urtats's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Fabian Millan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rosario AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico Ipona.
