Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Americo Cortez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Palmitas's Samuel Enetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Evarado in the 3rd minute of play. Saverio Sesuldo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmitas's Jose Escobar. But to his dismay, Jose Escobar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Banfield CBA defense, Silvano Quintun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saverio Sesuldo. The Banfield CBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saverio Sesuldo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Palmitas's Arnulfo Vigil got a free kick in the 19th minute. David Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saverio Sesuldo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Silvano Quintun sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Ramirez in the 26th minute of play forced Banfield CBA's goalkeeper Saverio Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Cornelio Ixaka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Saverio Sesuldo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 33 minutes, Osvaldo Ramirez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmitas and the Banfield CBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Osvaldo Ramirez hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Rene Quilo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saverio Sesuldo, 3-0. Saverio Sesuldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Americo Cortez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Jose Escobar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Saverio Sesuldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Evarado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Quintun in the 60th minute of play forced Banfield CBA's goalkeeper Saverio Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Quintun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saverio Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Escobar in the 64th minute of the match. Osvaldo Ramirez scored 7-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saverio Sesuldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saverio Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Quintun in the 71st minute of play. The referee ignored Banfield CBA's protests and gave Cornelio Ixaka a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Banfield CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Ixaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Jose Escobar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Saverio Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Quintun in the 83rd minute of the match. Saverio Sesuldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Americo Cortez went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Banfield CBA's David Evarado got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saverio Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Vigil in the 91st minute of the match. Saverio Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Palmitas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
