Spectators: 6603 (Terracing: 5503, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eusebio Handi got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Bartoli kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Eusebio Handi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goalkeeper Samuel Enetz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Handi. Eusebio Handi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Escobar in the 21st minute of play forced Monroe AFC's goalkeeper Fidel Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Handi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Enetz having to make a save. In the 26th minute Jose Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Darien was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 43rd minute, Eusebio Handi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Escobar took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Nevada. Fidel Nevada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fidel Nevada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Americo Cortez made the kick off in the second half. Fidel Nevada didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Monroe AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Osvaldo Ramirez scored to the left of an out of position Fidel Nevada, making the score, 0-3. 63 minutes into the match, Eusebio Handi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Enetz. Palmitas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Handi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Carlos Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Enetz having to interfere. Eusebio Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palmitas's Samuel Enetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Darien in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Americo Cortez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fidel Nevada. The goal made the score 1-4. Carlos Darien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Carlos Darien came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Monroe AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Darien couldn't finish the play. Monroe AFC made a substitution. Tomas Nisio replaced Alonzo Bernad. Vicente Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Enetz having to interfere. Carlos Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Samuel Enetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Handi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carlos Darien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Palmitas's Americo Cortez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Nevada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Palmitas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
