Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claudio Urtats made the kick off which started today's match. Silverio Veremundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonidas Bourboulithras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Bartolo Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Claudio Urtats got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Ipona's Claudio Urtats got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiani dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gerardo Valery, 1-0. When Claudio Urtats came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Club Atletico Ipona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Urtats couldn't finish the play. When Luiz Fabiani in the 15th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gerardo Valery kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Dharma FC's Isaias Raebert got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Dharma FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bartolo Bernaldo hit a great ball. Claudio Urtats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Albino Milio fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Ipona's protests and gave Albino Milio a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Club Atletico Ipona got a freekick which was hit by Albino Milio. Leonidas Bourboulithras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Bernaldo in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Incendio during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 minutes Dharma FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Valery managed, with a little bit of luck, save Carmine Faieta's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Carmine Faieta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gerardo Valery came out and tried to block the shot, but Carmine Faieta slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. Bartolo Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gerardo Valery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Dharma FC's Baltasar Incendio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Baltasar Incendio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dharma FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baltasar Incendio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Dharma FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atletico Ipona:s goal. When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, Club Atletico Ipona's Carmine Faieta got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gerardo Valery. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartolo Bernaldo was the one to do the kick off. Claudio Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gerardo Valery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alejo Remir fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dharma FC's protests and gave Alejo Remir a yellow card for diving instead. Alejo Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Bartolo Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Luiz Fabiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dharma FC's zone, Luiz Fabiani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Valery came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartolo Bernaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonidas Bourboulithras made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Horacio Txema sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Luiz Fabiani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Ipona's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Valery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albino Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atletico Ipona had played much better football throughout.
