Spectators: 7330 (Terracing: 5499, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Evarado started the match with the kick off. Banfield CBA's Saverio Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Urtats in the 8th minute of play. Claudio Urtats scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saverio Sesuldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonidas Bourboulithras made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when David Evarado sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute, Luiz Fabiani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Ipona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 20th minute Albino Milio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Club Atletico Ipona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Bide to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Urtats scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saverio Sesuldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Ipona's goalkeeper Leonidas Bourboulithras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Evarado. The supporters of Banfield CBA booed when Club Atletico Ipona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Bide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Abella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeronimo Sindo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Luiz Fabiani took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saverio Sesuldo. Saverio Sesuldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 47 minutes of play, Club Atletico Ipona's Claudio Urtats made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saverio Sesuldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Claudio Urtats made the kick off in the second half. Saverio Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Jeronimo Sindo in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Atletico Ipona's Lázaro Maore. Club Atletico Ipona's Lázaro Maore got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Milio in the 60th minute of play forced Banfield CBA's goalkeeper Saverio Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Claudio Urtats left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Ipona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Saverio Sesuldo was a little too slow when Luiz Fabiani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-7. Luiz Fabiani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Club Atletico Ipona booed when Banfield CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Claudio Urtats cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Saverio Sesuldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiani dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saverio Sesuldo, 0-9. Banfield CBA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Albino Milio scored to the left of an out of position Saverio Sesuldo, making the score, 0-10. Banfield CBA's Saverio Sesuldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Banfield CBA from getting a goal against them. Club Atletico Ipona's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
