In the 11th minute Paolo Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kutlu Ilgaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özal Tekiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Teyo having to interfere. Mauro Teyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Borre in the 18th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Anisacate FC's Urbano Txartiko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kutlu Ilgaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mármol AFC's Anier Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kutlu Ilgaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Esquipula in the 37th minute. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Cirilo Jakue with Urbano Txartiko as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

After 51 played minutes Mármol AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Lander. In the 52nd minute Paolo Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kutlu Ilgaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Cesar Mendez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kutlu Ilgaz. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özal Tekiner couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Adan Lander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Anisacate FC's Mauro Teyo got control of the ball when Özal Tekiner tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edmund Borre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Edmund Borre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mármol AFC's Sebastian Innocenzio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kim Giöck in the 94 minute of the game. Edmund Borre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Anisacate FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mármol AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
