After 7 minutes, Alberto Weather mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parque General Paz and the Talacasto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Aquila Meto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Artal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Teobaldo Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Atilano Diegotxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Parque General Paz's Carlos Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Paulin in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Parque General Paz getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Atilano Rico hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Eugenio Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Amor. Parque General Paz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Talacasto's Rafael Artal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Lop in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Paulin in the 37th minute of play forced Parque General Paz's goalkeeper Carlos Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Vincente got free with Carlos Amor in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Weather hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Eugenio Navarro charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Navarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Talacasto's Octavio Paulin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Amor. Carlos Amor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Vincente to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Parque General Paz's Atilano Rico got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Talacasto's Omar Pedroso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Teobaldo Lop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rafael Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Talacasto's zone, Teobaldo Lop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Artal came out of the goal and Teobaldo Lop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teobaldo Lops short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Rafael Artal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 75 minutes, Cristiano de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parque General Paz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Artal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquila Meto in the 79th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Rafael Artal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Parque General Paz's Carlos Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Paulin in the 87th minute of play. Teobaldo Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Belmiro's late challenge caught a Parque General Paz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Belmiro helped the player get up and apologised. Alberto Belmiro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Cristiano de Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parque General Paz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
