In the 9th match minute, Odontoclasto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Gar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Odontoclasto booed when Millán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Gines didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Gar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nunez Rufo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Amado Katia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Millán. Nunez Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Amado Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Katia made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Salvador Santikurtz sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Nunez Rufo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Alejo Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Odontoclasto's zone, Salvador Santikurtz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Katia came out of the goal and Salvador Santikurtz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Odontoclasto's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Santikurtz came free, but Amado Katia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Santikurtz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Amado Katia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Odontoclasto's zone, Nunez Rufo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Katia came out of the goal and Nunez Rufo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Millán's Nunez Rufo got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Millán booed when Odontoclasto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Fero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Salvador Santikurtz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Katia was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. In the 47th minute Salvador Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Katia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salvador Santikurtz to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Santikurtz in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Katia saved Odontoclasto from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Santikurtz in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Katia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Odontoclasto's Amado Katia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Argider in the 59th minute of play. Anselmo Gar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Santikurtz in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Katia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Millán were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Odontoclasto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guillermo Gines took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Guillermo Gines got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amado Katia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amado Katia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Santikurtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alejo Harkaitz fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Odontoclasto's protests and gave Alejo Harkaitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Odontoclasto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Harkaitz to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes, Arnoldo Martinez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Odontoclasto and the Millán players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Odontoclasto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Katia should have stopped the shot. When Millán's Salvador Santikurtz, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Millán. After a defensive mix-up in Odontoclasto's zone, Federico Lluc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Katia came out of the goal and Federico Lluc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudolf Timofeev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardino Fero went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Millán had played much better football throughout.
