SAN MIGUEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Era Rosa the free kick. After 3 played minutes SAN MIGUEL got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Txanton. In the 4th minute of the match Moises Mancio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavio Ihintza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Isidro Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Luciano Aznaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Isidro Veto made a huge save. In the 12th minute, Dionisio Opilano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Veto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zeledon Argider. Isidro Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Txanton in the 14th minute of play. Isidro Veto was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Omar Mendebal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Omar Mendebal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Omar Mendebal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Isidro Veto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Octavio Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Venceslas in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, La Era Rosa's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Mendebal came free, but Isidro Veto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Isidro Veto managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when SAN MIGUEL's Omar Mendebal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 43 minutes into the game, Silverio Jaunzuria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN MIGUEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Era Rosa the free kick. After having played for 47 minutes, Omar Mendebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN MIGUEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Mendebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Silverio Jaunzuria struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Isidro Veto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN MIGUEL. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Venceslas got free with Octavio Ihintza in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Luciano Aznaro fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAN MIGUEL's protests and gave Luciano Aznaro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SAN MIGUEL getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Luciano Aznaro hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Tomas Lucian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAN MIGUEL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Domingos Calixto charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Calixto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of La Era Rosa booed when SAN MIGUEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Calixto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Ihintza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulino Venceslas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 76 minute of play. After 82 played minutes La Era Rosa got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Martinez. After 83 played minutes, SAN MIGUEL's Zeledon Argider shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidro Veto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SAN MIGUEL reached it. The supporters of La Era Rosa booed when SAN MIGUEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. There was no doubt that SAN MIGUEL were the better team. SAN MIGUEL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
