Spectators: 7336 (Terracing: 5504, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baldomero Urtsin kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Club Atlético Gatorei booed when Viejo Tom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Crispo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas Vela hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Omar Eufrasio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santos Bingen skillfully saved the ball. When Cecilio Seguinus fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viejo Tom's protests and gave Cecilio Seguinus a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Viejo Tom got a freekick which was hit by Mark Dick. Club Atlético Gatorei's Ovidio Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Aballe in the 27th minute of play. Eustacio Crispo took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Acuña. Ovidio Acuña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hugo Ondino came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Santos Bingen could save by the left post. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viejo Tom's goalkeeper Santos Bingen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidio Acuña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Eustacio Crispo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Acuña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Viejo Tom's zone, Hugo Ondino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Bingen came out of the goal and Hugo Ondino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustacio Crispo to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Omar Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 59 in the game by Benito Aballe from a close distance when the talented Ovidio Acuña managed to make a qualified save. Club Atlético Gatorei's players were relieved. In the 67th play minute Eustacio Crispo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ovidio Acuña. 0-2. Mariano Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Gatorei's Omar Eufrasio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Baldomero Urtsin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Edgard Peru notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Viejo Tom's Santos Bingen. Santos Bingen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Club Atlético Gatorei's Ovidio Acuña got control of the ball when Eustacio Crispo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaias Ezkerra hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Club Atlético Gatorei supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Viejo Tom's performance. The match ended with a win for Viejo Tom.
