Ruben Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Abarca having to interfere. Ruben Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Lazcano in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Lazcano in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Abarca saved Laguneros S.D from getting behind. In the 20thth minute of the game Guido Lazcano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laguneros S.D's Ruben Abarca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Guido Lazcano put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ruben Abarca. Laguneros S.D's Ruben Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Lazcano in the 25th minute of play. Ruben Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Freddy Baladi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Celino in the 28th minute of play. FC Funes City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Txurio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laguneros S.D's Ruben Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Lazcano in the 39th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Celino made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Honorato Claus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruben Abarca, 0-3. Jeronimo Nesor might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddy Baladi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeronimo Nesor ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Guido Lazcano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruben Abarca, 0-4. Honorato Claus charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Claus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, FC Funes City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Claus to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Laguneros S.D were awarded a corner. Jose Bernaldo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Laguneros S.D's Jose Bernaldo to fire away a dangerous shot which Freddy Baladi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Humberto Chus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laguneros S.D's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Funes City the free kick. 71 minutes into the match, Laguneros S.D's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Claus came free, but Ruben Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Laguneros S.D's Victorino Bartoleme got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Honorato Claus kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Laguneros S.D's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Claus came free, but Ruben Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Abarca stood somewhat misplaced when Honorato Claus came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 78 minute.
