The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Viejo Tom's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Jaunzuria came free, but Santos Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Viejo Tom getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bartolo Belmiro hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Silverio Jaunzuria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Bingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Santos Bingen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Jaunzuria went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Freddy Egoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Cecilio Seguinus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Jaunzuria in the 35th minute of play forced Viejo Tom's goalkeeper Santos Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viejo Tom's Santos Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Mendebal in the 40th minute of play. Santos Bingen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Mendebal's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Silverio Jaunzuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Santos Bingen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Omar Mendebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Bingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustacio Crispo to make the kick off. Eustacio Crispo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Eustacio Crispo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Viejo Tom getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Isaias Ezkerra hit a great ball. After 86 minutes, Omar Mendebal made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Viejo Tom's Santos Bingen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
