After some careless play in the RC Celta de Vigo defense, Hugo Eufemio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Lizer. The RC Celta de Vigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Lizer should have stopped the shot. Hugo Eufemio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 6th playminute. After 11 played minutes Nerd Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Rafe. When Christian Lidon came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the RC Celta de Vigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Lidon couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, RC Celta de Vigo's Filomeno Veronica got a free kick in the 19th minute. Melchor Lizer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Dacio in the 22nd minute of the match. Melchor Lizer was a little too slow when Anacleto Toribio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. Iker Mantzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Oier in the 29th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, RC Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Melchor Lizer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Toribio. Anacleto Toribios short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Melchor Lizer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Melchor Lizer was a little too slow when Anacleto Toribio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Venancio Rafe hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Eulalio Monico struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Iker Mantzio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RC Celta de Vigo. Iker Mantzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Rameriz in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Luisito Ignazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Leonel Oier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Mantzio. Nerd Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Oier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 71st minute, Anacleto Toribio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nerd Old Boys's Iker Mantzio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Nerd Old Boys from getting a goal against them. After 75 played minutes RC Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Christian Lidon. Hugo Eufemio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Anacleto Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nerd Old Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Anacleto Toribio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Lizer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes Nerd Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Americo Geofredo. After 84 minutes, Venancio Rafe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nerd Old Boys and the RC Celta de Vigo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venancio Rafe hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of Nerd Old Boys booed when RC Celta de Vigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Veronica didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Hugo Eufemio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in RC Celta de Vigo's zone, Americo Geofredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Lizer came out of the goal and Americo Geofredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Lopes during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anselmo Lopes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Christian Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of RC Celta de Vigo booed when Nerd Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Geofredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Mantzio having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nerd Old Boys had played much better football throughout.
