After 4 minutes FC Funes City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dionisio Opilano who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on La Era Rosa's corner Joel Montxo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Freddy Baladi quite easily take care of the ball. In the 8th match minute, La Era Rosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Venceslas to maneuver through the defense. Isidro Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Claus in the 12th minute of play. Guido Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. La Era Rosa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 36th minute Guido Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Era Rosa's Paulino Venceslas got a free kick in the 37th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Honorato Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Funes City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Era Rosa's zone, Guido Lazcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Veto came out of the goal and Guido Lazcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guido Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Isidro Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to La Era Rosa getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bonifacio Formerio hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Venceslas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Cefero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidro Veto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Guido Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Funes City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Lazcano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Guido Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Margus Arak hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th of the match, Honorato Claus tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Isidro Veto got in the way and made a wonderful save. Albino Lauaxeta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Veto having to make a save. In the 61st match minute, La Era Rosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. Guido Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Isidro Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Veto having to interfere. Godofredo Berenguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Honorato Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Lazcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Era Rosa's Isidro Veto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save La Era Rosa from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Bonifacio Formerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Era Rosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Formerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Baladi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 played minutes La Era Rosa got a freekick which was hit by Joel Montxo. Joel Montxo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Freddy Baladi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Era Rosa. In the 94th minute, Paulino Venceslas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Baladi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the final whistle sounded FC Funes City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Era Rosa.
