Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) CHICAGO's Romulo Segio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. CHICAGO's Samuel Dolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save CHICAGO from getting a goal against them. Eustaquio Primeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, CHICAGO's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Valerio came free, but Samuel Dolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CHICAGO's Prospero Venceslas got a free kick in the 13th minute. Samuel Dolfo made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Edelmiro Richie sent off a good shot on target. Edelmiro Richie might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Dolfo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edelmiro Richie ran back to his position shaking his head. After 27 played minutes Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Igor Turi. In the 44th minute, Alvear's Edelmiro Richie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Dolfo. Samuel Dolfo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Tadeo Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Samuel Dolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Valerio in the 56th minute of play. Sixto Valerio took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Dolfo. Samuel Dolfo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Richie in the 62nd minute of play forced CHICAGO's goalkeeper Samuel Dolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Iratzeder was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Romulo Segio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romulo Segio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. If Romulo Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Santiago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabricio Iratzeder having to make a save. Edelmiro Richie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Dolfo having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Edelmiro Richie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvear fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The supporters of CHICAGO booed when Alvear was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Iratzeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Santiago in the 91st minute. There was no doubt that Alvear were the better team. Alvear's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
