The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horacio Eliazar to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Heroicos sobrevivientes's goalkeeper Guaberto Eguntsenti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Richie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Venceslao in the 57th minute of play forced Alvear's goalkeeper Fabricio Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Alvear left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Heroicos sobrevivientes.
