Celedonio Fidensio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Victorino Mon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Fidensio. Corcoran CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Mon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Corcoran CF's zone, Alfonso Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Fidensio came out of the goal and Alfonso Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorino Mon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Fidensio having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Ekain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Alfonso Ekain tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celedonio Fidensio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
