Cleto Santiago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Fidensio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Cleto Santiago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CHICAGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Celedonio Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Santiago in the 44th minute of play. Leon Eder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Dolfo having to interfere. During the 88th minute of the match Omar Sasoin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Omar Sasoin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Corcoran CF booed when CHICAGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Sasoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. CHICAGO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
