Los Luminosos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Echeverría the free kick. Angel Lon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Nunez Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Olayo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingo Eguntsenti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Padro in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Igor Olayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Echeverría fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Cecilio Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Domingo Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Lon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Jusepe in the 63rd minute. Angel Lon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Olayo in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Los Luminosos's goalkeeper Angel Lon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Jusepe. Angel Lon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Olayo in the 77th minute of play. If Godofredo Haitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nunez Padro might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Eguntsenti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nunez Padro ran back to his position shaking his head. Los Luminosos's Angel Lon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Olayo in the 85th minute of play. Isidro Jusepe hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Igor Olayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Echeverría's Igor Olayo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angel Lon. Angel Lon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Echeverría's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
