An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Padro in the 15th minute of play forced Latero AFC's goalkeeper Fabio Lleir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Apolo Peter made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Lleir. Latero AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fabio Lleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Nunez Padro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Luminosos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 25 minutes into the match, Latero AFC's goalkeeper Fabio Lleir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Calixto. Fabio Lleir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Padro in the 26th minute of play. Angel Lon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Cedro in the 31st minute of the match. Fabio Lleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Calixto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fabio Lleir made a huge save. Fabio Lleir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Simon Ourente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Latero AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Luminosos the free kick. Alfonso Calixto struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Fabio Lleir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Luminosos. Fabio Lleir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Peter in the 43rd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Latero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Cedro to maneuver through the defense. When Sixto Mouricio fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Latero AFC's protests and gave Sixto Mouricio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Latero AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sixto Mouricio hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Sixto Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Lon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Ourente to make the kick off. If Simon Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Alfonso Calixto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Lleir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Cedro hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Emanuel Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes of play Latero AFC's Simon Ourente was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Simon Ourente kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Latero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Padro came free, but Fabio Lleir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Mouricio got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Los Luminosos booed when Latero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Lleir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Latero AFC's Emanuel Cedro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emanuel Cedro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Latero AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emanuel Cedro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 84th minute, Emanuel Cedro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Peter might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Lleir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Peter ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Peter in the 87th minute of play forced Latero AFC's goalkeeper Fabio Lleir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was beautiful to see Latero AFC's Bruno Guerau in action when he in the 91st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The audience was convinced that Nunez Padro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Lleir was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Latero AFC defense, Alfonso Calixto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Lleir. The Latero AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Lleir should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Luminosos had played much better football throughout.
