Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 5th minute Maximo Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tocata AFC's Marcelino Darien in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DRJ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute Eleuterio Edorta suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 10 minutes, Julian Bernal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DRJ and the Tocata AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tocata AFC booed when DRJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Sendoa having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tocata AFC's zone, Isidro Abadie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Mambru came out of the goal and Isidro Abadie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tocata AFC's Adan Quinto got a free kick in the 18th minute. Filiberto Perfecto kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Severino Lluc reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiburcio Mambru. The goal made the score 1-0. Tocata AFC's Marcelino Darien got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, DRJ's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Darien came free, but Damian Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Darien struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Damian Sendoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tocata AFC. Maximo Petrigai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Damian Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Darien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Petrigai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Julian Bernal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. After 35 played minutes DRJ got a freekick which was hit by Julian Bernal. Marcelino Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Sendoa having to interfere. Damian Sendoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Darien in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Gaxan during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in DRJ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Damian Sendoa went to the wrong direction when Haroldo Bidari was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Marcelino Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Sendoa having to interfere. Pascual Bihar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, DRJ's goalkeeper Damian Sendoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Darien. If Maximo Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Sendoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DRJ's Damian Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Quinto in the 95th minute of play. With a little luck, DRJ's Damian Sendoa got control of the ball when Marcelino Darien tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tocata AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
