Thanks to some nice moves Aldo Montez could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Sebastian Raymundo however easily saved by the left post. Serafin Rey made in the 15th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gualterio Castel however managed to control. Sebastian Raymundo was a little too slow when Lisandro Guillelme got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. Gualterio Castel took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Raymundo. Sebastian Raymundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Godoy Cruz's Sebastian Raymundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Godoy Cruz from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Romulo Cibran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alpachiri AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Godoy Cruz the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alpachiri AFC's Romulo Cibran got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Baturhan Toprak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciro Dodorol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastian Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Montez in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Aldo Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Sansone's late challenge caught a Alpachiri AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Sansone helped the player get up and apologised. 38 minutes into the game, Santos Admon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Sebastian Raymundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42ndth minute of the game Isaias Luken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpachiri AFC's Ciro Dodorol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Guillelme in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alpachiri AFC's goalkeeper Ciro Dodorol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Alpachiri AFC booed when Godoy Cruz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Cuartio didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Castel was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Elias Chorche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Evaristo Chesus came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Godoy Cruz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Chesus couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Godoy Cruz booed when Alpachiri AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Chesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ciro Dodorol made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Godoy Cruz's Gaspar Cuartio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Sebastian Raymundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Guillelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Admon in the 63rd minute of play forced Godoy Cruz's goalkeeper Sebastian Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Aldo Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Lizbeth lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Alpachiri AFC. Lisandro Guillelme stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sebastian Raymundo. 4-2. 79 minutes into the game, Alpachiri AFC's Gualterio Castel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Raymundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Admon in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Raymundo saved Godoy Cruz from getting behind. Sebastian Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Castel in the 86th minute of the match. Lisandro Guillelme charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Guillelme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Alpachiri AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Guillelme to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Godoy Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Montez came free, but Sebastian Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaias Luken hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Guillelme in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Raymundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
