Godoy Cruz's Isaias Luken got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute of the match Artemio Lluterio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Oxarra skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Felicia FC's Isaac Domiku got a free kick in the 5th minute. Miguel Oxarra was a little too slow when Victorino Koldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 9th minute, Victorino Koldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Orlanda in the 15th minute of the match. Sebastian Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Orlanda in the 19th minute of play. Evaristo Chesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Oxarra having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Godoy Cruz's Isaias Luken slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Oxarra. That made the score 2-1 after 26 minutes of play. Evaristo Chesus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Oxarra having to make a save. Isaias Luken had several of the Felicia FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Miguel Oxarra as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sebastian Raymundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Petrigai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Evaristo Chesus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Oxarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Miguel Oxarra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Chesus in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Felicia FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Domiku. Miguel Oxarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Luken in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Fausto Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Luken to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Godoy Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Lluterio to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes Felicia FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Salvadore. In the 57th minute Evaristo Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Oxarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Orlanda in the 61st minute of play forced Godoy Cruz's goalkeeper Sebastian Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Felicia FC booed when Godoy Cruz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Lizbeth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Oxarra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorino Koldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Godoy Cruz's Sebastian Raymundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Orlanda in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Fausto Petrigai could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Sebastian Raymundo however easily saved by the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Isaias Luken notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Felicia FC's Miguel Oxarra. Miguel Oxarra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isaias Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Godoy Cruz fans cheered their team off the field, for while Felicia FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
