Damian Sendoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Cordarius's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. If Jonathan Cordarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damian Sendoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Braulio Jurgi went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Cordarius might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Sendoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Cordarius ran back to his position shaking his head. Damian Sendoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Cordarius in the 23rd minute of play. Mesut Demirci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Abadie in the 25th minute. DRJ's Damian Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Uzuri in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DRJ's Filiberto Perfecto got a free kick in the 30th minute. Braulio Jurgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Sendoa having to interfere. After 38 played minutes DRJ got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Perfecto. Damian Sendoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Cordarius in the 43rd minute of play. Mesut Demirci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Abadie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Cruzados del Norte FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Lluc was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to DRJ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Julian Bernal hit a great ball. Isidoro Uzuri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Ovidio Gaxan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DRJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cruzados del Norte FC the free kick. In the 67th match minute, DRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Gaxan to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Aureo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Sendoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in DRJ's zone, Jonathan Cordarius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Sendoa came out of the goal and Jonathan Cordarius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Braulio Jurgi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 73 minutes into the game, Jonathan Cordarius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damian Sendoa. Jonathan Cordarius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Braulio Jurgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mesut Demirci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Bernal in the 78th minute of the match. Severino Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Braulio Jurgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Sendoa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DRJ's Pablo Intxixu got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Jonathan Cordarius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Braulio Jurgi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Cruzados del Norte FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DRJ.
