After the first half Saldungaray FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lucas Vazquez made the kick off in the second half. Kees Bruinsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Joar Wennerström hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Celeste FC's Joar Wennerström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobus Stolte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Anacleto Blasco's late challenge caught a Saldungaray FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anacleto Blasco helped the player get up and apologised. Kees Bruinsma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Vazquez went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Kees Bruinsma made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Conrado Belo sent off a good shot on target. Saturnino Orkatz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute.
