In the 20thth minute of the game Baltasar Dalmu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almagro's Isidro Leguizamón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidro Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Dalmu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 30th minute, Cayetano Izotz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Churqui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 34th minute, Cayetano Izotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iacob Călin during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Venancio Aballe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Dalmu in the 57th minute of play forced Almagro's goalkeeper Isidro Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Almagro's Jordão Palhares threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodolfo Amato, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 75th minute, Baltasar Dalmu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Churqui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. If Cayetano Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Izotz in the 81st minute of play forced Almagro's goalkeeper Isidro Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Dalmu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Leguizamón having to interfere. Almagro's Isidro Leguizamón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Izotz in the 96th minute of play. Almagro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
