Gavino Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Frechoso having to interfere. In the 11th minute Delmiro Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Antilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Maura to maneuver through the defense. Facundo Berrios scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Frechoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomás Frechoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Amaya in the 19th minute. Tomás Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Abelardo Amaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Amaya let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 26th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Facundo Berrios got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 30 played minutes Antilla got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Garaile. With his leg Tomás Frechoso managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Talleres lo mas's Abelardo Amaya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Eulalio Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Baristo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Vito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rene Brais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antilla's Tomás Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Amaya in the 39th minute of play. Tomás Frechoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Amaya in the 40th minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Abelardo Amaya sped through Antilla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomás Frechoso. 46 minutes into the game, Gavino Lopes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomás Frechoso. Gavino Lopes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Amaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Octavio Vito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Bertol went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Gavino Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tomás Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Amaya in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Frechoso saved Antilla from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Antilla's Clodoveo Mitxaut got a free kick in the 67th minute. Generoso Bazil might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Frechoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Bazil ran back to his position shaking his head. When Arnoldo Maura fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antilla's protests and gave Arnoldo Maura a yellow card for diving instead. Arnoldo Maura hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Tomás Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Francesco in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Berrios in the 78th minute of play forced Antilla's goalkeeper Tomás Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Facundo Berrios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres lo mas's supporters rose to their feet, but Facundo Berrios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Delmiro Francesco came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Talleres lo mas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Francesco couldn't finish the play. Tomás Frechoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Amaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, Talleres lo mas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Elorri to maneuver through the defense. If Rafael Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Talleres lo mas got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Amaya. Tomás Frechoso came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres lo mas's Gavino Lopes. But to his dismay, Gavino Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1.
