The supporters of Antilla booed when Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Aballe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Frechoso came out of the goal and Gustavo Salamon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eulalio Baristo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Julio Breogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Breogan hit a great ball. If Eulalio Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almagro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Rafael Bertol scored to the left of an out of position Isidro Leguizamón, making the score, 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Venancio Aballe in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Frechoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Arnas went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Tomás Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Almagro had played much better football throughout.
