Angelino Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Ilazki in the 15th minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Limay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Machado came free, but Antonio Diegotxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Limay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Jerold to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustacio Alfonso during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Limay FC's Victorino Ilazki got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Limay FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
