Manuel Lore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Puntin y Salimos's Mariano Hever in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Pibe De Los Astilleros's goalie prevented a goal. Arnulfo Intxixu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Lore in the 18th minute of play. When Mariano Hever came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Puntin y Salimos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Hever couldn't finish the play. Manuel Lore got in the 22nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Arnulfo Intxixu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mariano Hever took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Intxixu. Arnulfo Intxixu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Arturo Inko might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guido Teofilio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Inko ran back to his position shaking his head. Guido Teofilio made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Arturo Inko sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Mariano Hever notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of El Pibe De Los Astilleros's Arnulfo Intxixu. Arnulfo Intxixu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the match, El Pibe De Los Astilleros's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Hever came free, but Arnulfo Intxixu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes El Pibe De Los Astilleros got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Maule. 46 minutes into the game, Puntin y Salimos's Mariano Hever nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Intxixu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Benet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Hever could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Arnulfo Intxixu however easily saved by the left post. In the 71st minute, Manuel Lore reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnulfo Intxixu. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 74th match minute, El Pibe De Los Astilleros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Benet to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Alberto Odol from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Arnulfo Intxixu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 80 minutes into the match, El Pibe De Los Astilleros's goalkeeper Arnulfo Intxixu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Hever.
