Spectators: 7363 (Terracing: 5523, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) Boca Juniors's Lázaro Veremundo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lázaro Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. The audience was convinced that Lázaro Veremundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Romelio was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Luciano Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Aguilera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Romelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lázaro Veremundo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Veremundo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Aguilera in the 22nd minute of play forced Lobos FC's goalkeeper Benito Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lázaro Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Benito Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Mitxaut took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Romelio. Benito Romelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Benito Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Veremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Maurício Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurício Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Bembe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luciano Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. In the 51st minute, Maurício Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Quinito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lázaro Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Lobos FC's goalkeeper Benito Romelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Veremundo. In the 67th minute Leon Quinito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Soter in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Romelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Veremundo in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Romelio saved Lobos FC from getting behind. After 72 minutes, Desiderio Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobos FC and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Desiderio Santos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Luciano Aguilera might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Romelio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Aguilera ran back to his position shaking his head. Hilario Firme charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilario Firme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Andres Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Veremundo in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Romelio saved Lobos FC from getting behind. Luciano Aguilera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Romelio having to interfere. Lázaro Veremundos short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Benito Romelio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rene Mitxaut during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rene Mitxaut hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lobos FC.
