Leonides Teofilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Veremundo. After 40 minutes of play, C.A Boca Juniors's Florentino Jakue made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eleuterio Bembe was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robustiano Abel to make the kick off. Lázaro Veremundo struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Eleuterio Orlandus a yellow card for diving instead. Eleuterio Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Enrique Edwardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Eleuterio Bembe made a huge save. Leon Quinito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Lázaro Veremundo made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Teofilio. C.A Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After having played for 76 minutes, Lázaro Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Veremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eleuterio Bembe didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 79th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when C.A Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Aguilera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Teofilio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Eleuterio Bembe made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Robustiano Abel sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, C.A Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Aguilera came free, but Leonides Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Boca Juniors manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing C.A Boca Juniors to win.
