In the 44th minute of the match Fausto Txerran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gervasio Jacindo skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Los Pollitos's Gervasio Jacindo got control of the ball when Gilberto Karlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Uranga's Higinio Elorri, in the 47th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Uranga. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Padro to strike the kick off in the second half. Uranga's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
