Spectators: 7133 (Terracing: 5528, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 105) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Orlando Baraquiel kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Chale in the 6th minute of play forced Zarlanga's goalkeeper Natalio Froila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Baraquiel in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Joaquin Iratxo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Froila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Zarlanga's Natalio Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Chale in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Zarlanga booed when Red Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Francis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Godfredo Dacio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Guib skillfully saved the ball. After 24 played minutes Red Lions got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Paz. Osvaldo Laffitte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Omar Guib when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Zarlanga's Osvaldo Laffitte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Omar Guib. That made the score 2-1 after 27 minutes of play. Zarlanga's Natalio Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Guipuzkoa in the 31st minute of play. Joel Erramu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Osvaldo Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omar Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Paskal in the 34th minute of the match. Natalio Froila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Guipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Laffitte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zarlanga's Natalio Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Iratxo in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Laffitte made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Zarlanga got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Laffitte. In the 52nd minute, Osvaldo Laffitte fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Omar Guib moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. If Albino Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Joaquin Iratxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zarlanga the free kick. Omar Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Lucian in the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Laffitte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Guib was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Pablo Chale's late challenge caught a Zarlanga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Chale helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Pablo Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Zarlanga's Natalio Froila got control of the ball when Joaquin Iratxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Osvaldo Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Paskal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81stth minute of the game Osvaldo Laffitte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Lions's Omar Guib was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldo Laffitte took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Guib. Omar Guib dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ivan Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Osvaldo Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Zarlanga were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
