Americo Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Berasko in the 23rd minute of play. Roman Valerio charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Valerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Roman Valerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Mate's zone, Dante Berasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Marcones came out of the goal and Dante Berasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the game, Los Pollitos's Dante Berasko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Marcones made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Americo Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Berasko in the 33rd minute of the match. The Los Pollitos fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Los Pollitos's Ceferino Padro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 37 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Berasko came free, but Americo Marcones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Padro in the 40th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Marcones prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47thth minute of the game Dante Berasko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Mate's Americo Marcones was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Padro made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Deportivo Mate got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo James. When Dante Berasko came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Los Pollitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Berasko couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Mate's Americo Marcones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Padro in the 60th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Alvaro Isias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Mate and the Los Pollitos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Alvaro Isias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ceferino Padro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Americo Marcones was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Americo Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Padro in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Florencio Lauro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Jacindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Deportivo Mate made a substitution. Marcial Savier replaced Florencio Lauro. Deportivo Mate's Teofilo Manex was substituted for Gerardo Tipi. Los Pollitos played a much better game than Deportivo Mate and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Mate players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
