Omar Guib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Padro in the 14th minute of play. Dante Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Guib having to interfere. With a little luck, Red Lions's Omar Guib got control of the ball when Dante Berasko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paolo Guipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gervasio Jacindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Beltxe kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 27 minutes Los Pollitos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ambrosio Nataniel who took care of the corner kick. Red Lions's Ambrosio Nataniel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gervasio Jacindo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gervasio Jacindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Baraquiel went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After the first half Red Lions were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Baraquiel to strike the kick off in the second half. Red Lions's Omar Guib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Berasko in the 53rd minute of play. Omar Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With 55 minutes on the clock, Ambrosio Nataniel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Los Pollitos. Victorio Sidoro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Omar Guib. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ceferino Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Pollitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Padro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Red Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Iratxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paolo Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Jacindo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Paolo Guipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 79th minute of the match, Paolo Guipuzkoa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gervasio Jacindo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Paolo Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Los Pollitos's Rene Eleazar got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Guipuzkoa got free with Gervasio Jacindo in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pablo Chale charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Chale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Red Lions's Pablo Chale got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ceferino Padro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Guib having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Paolo Guipuzkoa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Paolo Guipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Gervasio Jacindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Lions. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
