With his leg Gervasio Jacindo managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Zarlanga's Osvaldo Laffitte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th minute, Osvaldo Laffitte made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Jacindo. Los Pollitos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 20 played minutes Los Pollitos got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Castulo. After having played for 25 minutes, Osvaldo Laffitte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zarlanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Laffitte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Los Pollitos's zone, Osvaldo Laffitte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Jacindo came out of the goal and Osvaldo Laffitte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes, Osvaldo Laffitte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zarlanga and the Los Pollitos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Pollitos booed when Zarlanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Laffitte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zarlanga's Emanuel Paskal suffered a sore knee after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 34 minutes, Rene Eleazar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Pollitos and the Zarlanga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zarlanga made a substitution. Albino Remir replaced Emanuel Paskal. After a rather tough play, Los Pollitos's Rene Eleazar got a free kick in the 35th minute. Sixto Castulo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Laffitte let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 38th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Dante Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Froila having to interfere. Osvaldo Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Osvaldo Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ceferino Padro was the one to do the kick off. Zarlanga's Natalio Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Padro in the 57th minute of play. Natalio Froila came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Pollitos's Ceferino Padro. But to his dismay, Ceferino Padro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 63 minutes of play Los Pollitos's Rene Eleazar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Rene Eleazar hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Osvaldo Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Jacindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 68 in the game by Dante Berasko from a close distance when the talented Natalio Froila managed to make a qualified save. Zarlanga's players were relieved. Gervasio Jacindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Lucian in the 71st minute of the match. Dante Berasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Zarlanga's Victorino Ubelteso got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ivan Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Remir struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Gervasio Jacindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zarlanga. Ceferino Padro kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
