Emporioneta were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Donato F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Godfredo Argi took the corner. Gustavo Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Leandro Leobardo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Emporioneta's Aquiles Bertin. Aquiles Bertin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Michael to strike the kick off in the second half. Aquiles Bertin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Luzaide's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Emporioneta's zone, Mauro Luzaide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Bertin came out of the goal and Mauro Luzaide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquiles Bertin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Luzaide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Silverio Maule hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Michael in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Columbo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Donato F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emporioneta the free kick. 73 minutes into the game, one of Donato F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Godfredo Argi placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Gustavo Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Michael in the 77th minute of the match. When Manuel Gonzo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emporioneta's protests and gave Manuel Gonzo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Manuel Gonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
