Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Covello's Juan Lapurdi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Juan Lapurdi sped through Amparo Victoria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Rio. In the 12th minute, Juan Lapurdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Mikeldi struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Denis Rio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covello. After a rather tough play, Amparo Victoria's Robustiano Pelagius got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Damian Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Covello's Juan Lapurdi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Denis Rio was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Juan Lapurdi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juan Lapurdi really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 33rd minute Juan Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Amparo Victoria booed when Covello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Ursino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Elixio hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Amparo Victoria's Higinio Remir seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Higinio Remir the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Amparo Victoria protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Higinio Remir had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amparo Victoria! The goalkeeper, Denis Rio, was totally fooled by Covello's Damian Mikeldi, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Damian Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Rio having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Juan Lapurdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Lapurdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Grabiel was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Ramon Rafe managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Amparo Victoria's Ildefonso Guillelmo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ricardo Fortun hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Covello's Carmelo Rocendo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Bonifacio Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Denis Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Rafe made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Julian Elixio sent off a good shot on target. Denis Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 64th match minute, Amparo Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Lixandro to maneuver through the defense. The Covello fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Covello's Juan Lapurdi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 71 minutes into the match, Covello's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Guillelmo came free, but Ramon Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Juan Lapurdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amparo Victoria's Denis Rio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 84 played minutes Amparo Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Guillelmo. Juan Lapurdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Rio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Lapurdi's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Ovidio Lixandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Juan Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juan Lapurdi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Rio was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Denis Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lapurdi in the 95th minute of play.
