Fabian Galiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Lugo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Eulalio Jerardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Ospetsu in the 10th minute. RIVER PLATE's David Romelio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eulalio Jerardo but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, RIVER PLATE's Ambrosio Firman got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Fabian Galiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Solana F.C.'s Martin Walberg in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Solana F.C.'s zone, Santos Ospetsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Jerardo came out of the goal and Santos Ospetsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Solana F.C.'s goalkeeper Eulalio Jerardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Ospetsu. When Fabian Galiano came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Solana F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Galiano couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Ospetsu got free with Eulalio Jerardo in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

51 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's Ambrosio Firman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eulalio Jerardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Solana F.C.'s Alberto Román got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Emiliano Ortle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Jerardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Isaias Lugo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Galiano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 60 minute of play. After some careless play in the Solana F.C. defense, Santos Ospetsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Jerardo. The Solana F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Jerardo should have stopped the shot. Alberto Román sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Jerardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Nesor in the 84th minute of play. Zacharias Bollhalder kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Santos Ospetsu scored 4-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eulalio Jerardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
