The audience was convinced that Juan Lapurdi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Nel was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Lapurdi couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Firme's late challenge caught a Covello's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Firme helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ranquelcó getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ricardo Firme hit a great ball. Sebastian Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Covello's Damian Mikeldi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Juan Lapurdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38thth minute of the game Juan Lapurdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranquelcó's Sebastian Nel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damian Mikeldi might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Nel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Mikeldi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Lapurdi in the 40th minute of play forced Ranquelcó's goalkeeper Sebastian Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Ranquelcó's goalkeeper Sebastian Nel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Lapurdi. In the 45th minute of the match, Juan Lapurdi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Nel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Covello's Juan Lapurdi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Sebastian Nel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 69 minutes into the match, Covello's Juan Lapurdi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Nel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
