C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernán-Adrián Crespo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernán-Adrián Crespo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Quintun having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernán-Adrián Crespo was the one to do the kick off. Geronimo Quintun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán-Adrián Crespo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute.
