The referee ignored LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB's protests and gave Alexandre Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. Paulino Sugar might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Achebe Aguele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulino Sugar ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Hector Crescencio made the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Marinho got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Salvador Bartolome came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Theobald FC's Arnaldo Tirso. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Tirso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Victorino Ourente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hector Crescencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Theobald FC! The LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
