Justo Jeraldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteve Laurendi in the 78th minute. Ambrosio Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Eufrasio kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Israel Brion sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ambrosio Socorro skillfully saved the ball. Justo Jeraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Mikelar's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Esteve Laurendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Gentza struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ambrosio Socorro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Il Catenaccio. When the referee ended the match the Il Catenaccio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
