Dante Balasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Hanni having to interfere. Arnaldo Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Crescencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Evelio Hanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Procopio's late challenge caught a Theobald FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Procopio helped the player get up and apologised. Achebe Aguele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Paio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Theobald FC booed when El Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Odilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Theobald FC booed when El Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Odilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Israel Paio managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Pincha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Paio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achebe Aguele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Ismael Paez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Theobald FC! Tadeo Cordairo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Achebe Aguele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pincha FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Crescencio made a kick off. If Israel Paio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Mikelar struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Achebe Aguele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pincha FC. When El Pincha FC's Israel Paio in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 63rd match minute, El Pincha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Procopio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Paio in the 68th minute of play forced Theobald FC's goalkeeper Achebe Aguele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Balasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hector Crescencio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Theobald FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Crescencio couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, El Pincha FC's Evelio Hanni got control of the ball when Dante Balasi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Mikelar took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Achebe Aguele. Achebe Aguele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 78th match minute, Theobald FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Tirso to maneuver through the defense. Achebe Aguele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Paio in the 83rd minute of the match. Evelio Hanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91st play minutes Israel Paio shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Achebe Aguele and just under the crossbar into goal. El Pincha FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
