Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Atilano Chap took the kick off in the first half of the match. Atilano Chap took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Achebe Aguele. Achebe Aguele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 8thth minute of the game Atilano Chap who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Theobald FC's Achebe Aguele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Atilano Chap sped through Theobald FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Achebe Aguele. Theobald FC's Arnaldo Tirso got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atilano Chap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guga Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Belgrano were awarded a corner. Conrado Oidor went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Theobald FC defense, Atilano Chap kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Achebe Aguele. The Theobald FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Achebe Aguele should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Daniel Cheche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Cheche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achebe Aguele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atilano Chap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achebe Aguele having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Crescencio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Chap in the 52nd minute of play forced Theobald FC's goalkeeper Achebe Aguele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Eyague. After some careless play in the Theobald FC defense, Atilano Chap kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Achebe Aguele. The Theobald FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Achebe Aguele should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute Atilano Chap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achebe Aguele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achebe Aguele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Chap in the 67th minute of play. Dante Balasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Guillem having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goalkeeper Cristo Guillem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Balasi. Atilano Chap scored 7-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Achebe Aguele, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Tirso came free, but Cristo Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgrano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guga Carvalho was slow to take the kick. During this time Theobald FC's players had a chance to rest. Arnaldo Tirso's late challenge caught a Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Tirso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Belgrano booed when Theobald FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Tirso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belgrano walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
